Testing method for compression capacity and efficiency of diaphragm compressor

The compression capacity and efficiency testing methods for diaphragm compressors are as follows:

      One、 Compression capability testing method

      1. Pressure measurement method: Install high-precision pressure sensors at the inlet and outlet of the compressor, start the compressor to operate under stable conditions, record the inlet and outlet pressures at different times, compare the difference between the inlet and outlet pressures, and the absolute value of the outlet pressure .Evaluate the compression capacity of the compressor based on the value.

      2. Flow measurement method: Install a flow meter on the inlet or outlet pipe of the compressor to measure the gas flow rate passing through the compressor over a certain period of time.By combining the measurement results of intake pressure and exhaust pressure, the actual compression ratio and displacement of the compressor under different operating conditions can be calculated to evaluate its compression capacity.

      3. Indicator diagram method: Draw the indicator diagram of the compressor by installing pressure sensors and displacement sensors on the compressor cylinder. The dynamometer diagram can intuitively reflect the pressure changes and piston displacement of the compressor within one working cycle, and then analyze the working process and compression capacity of the compressor.

      4. Load test method: By gradually increasing the load of the compressor, observe its operating conditions under different loads, such as changes in exhaust pressure, flow rate, temperature and other parameters, as well as the vibration, noise and other conditions of the compressor, to evaluate its compression capacity and stability under different loads.

      Two、 Efficiency testing method

      1. Direct measurement method: Measure the input power and output power of the compressor separately. The input power can be calculated by measuring the input current and voltage of the motor, using formulas. The output power can be calculated by measuring parameters such as exhaust pressure and flow rate, based on the thermodynamic principles of gas compression, and then calculating the efficiency input and output.

      2. Indirect measurement method: By measuring some key parameters of the compressor during operation, such as exhaust temperature, intake temperature, pressure ratio, etc., the efficiency of the compressor is indirectly calculated using empirical formulas or theoretical models.

      3. Comparative test method: Under the same operating conditions, the diaphragm compressor to be tested is compared with a standard compressor with known efficiency or a high-efficiency compressor of the same type. By comparing the performance parameters of the two, such as exhaust pressure, flow rate, power consumption, etc., the efficiency level of the tested compressor is evaluated.

      4. Energy balance method: Conduct energy balance analysis on the compressor and its ancillary systems, measure the input electrical energy, thermal energy, and output compression energy, thermal energy, etc. during the operation of the compressor, establish energy balance equations, analyze the loss and utilization of energy, and evaluate the efficiency of the compressor.
